Abstract

This report presents the case of a five years old male patient suffering from blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (BRBNS). He had suffered many episodes of lower gastrointestinal bleeding. An investigation approach that included interprofessional and sub-specialty inputs was employed to reach a diagnosis. Once diagnosed, the patient was treated by the gastrointestinal-pediatric experts who were central to the treatment.
